JAWS Outages

The JAWS Outages calendar lists **planned maintenance windows** and
**known downtime** for JAWS and its compute sites (Dori, Perlmutter,
Tahoma, and others).

If you're planning a run a few days or weeks out, this is the best
place to check before you submit.

When to use which channel
=========================

There are three ways to learn about JAWS availability, and they answer
different questions:

- **Right now** — what's actually up or down at this moment:

- **This week / next month** — what's scheduled:

  *This page* (the JAWS Outages calendar above).

- **Same-day, urgent** — what just happened or is happening:

  The ``#jaws`` Slack channel, where the JAWS team posts ``@channel``
  announcements during ongoing incidents.
